Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson paid cash to have the home of his dreams
The Rock recently acquired a 46-acre mansion in Georgia. The massive home is situated in Powder Springs and is just as big as the town. Johnson is alleged to have dropped a whopping $9,495,000 for this mansion which is just 45 minutes from Atlanta.
Mansion fit for a king
The house is 14,791 sq. feet with 8 bedrooms, a riding arena, a viewing deck, a 12-stall barn, a pool house, and a pool. It also has a farmhouse that was built in 1867 for the caretakers. He definitely will not be short of space in this sprawling mansion. Asides having provisions for horses on the property, the father of three will now have enough room in the house for his family which includes his three daughters and wife Lauren Hashian.
The exterior part of the manor is simply incredible with a manicured pool area surrounded by lush foliage and potted plants. It also has some chairs and tables for a beautiful view of the pool area. It houses a cabana area that has sandstone walls and huge beam ceilings.
So why would this world-famous superstar purchase a property in a town with less than 15k residents? Johnson has always been fond of small towns in Georgia. The Jumanji star who is 47 years old has ties to Atlanta. Recently, he visited his aunt in Jones County. He has always spoken about how the region gives him time to breathe. No wonder he didn’t waste any time and paid cash for the property. He said that he thought about it when driving back to Georgia that he needed a place to breathe due to his crazy life events.
Despite being in a small town, this property doesn’t isolate Johnson from civilization. He is just 45 minutes away from Hartsfield-Jackson International airport.
