CommsChoice Group Ltd. has recently announced the expansion of its Microsoft Teams calling platform in the Philippines, Japan, and China. The platform is currently live in Tokyo, Manila, Shanghai, and Beijing, providing the extensive Teams calling coverage in the Asia Pacific region.

The recent expansion marks the ASX-listed cloud communications provider as the 1st company to deliver the Microsoft Teams calling services in China, as well as the 1st company to provide the International Teams calling from a provider in major Asian markets.

According to Peter McGrath, chief executive officer of CommsChoice, the company has been continuously expanding its network to aid multi-national companies in gaining access to a platform phone system in the Americas, EU, and APAC regions. There has been an increased demand for a single platform UC (Unified Communications) solution from various international businesses. CommsChoice’s platform will enable these companies to have their branch offices and head office on a UC platform, despite their presence in various office locations.

Mr. McGrath further added that the company is anticipating the expansion of its platform in India within the next 6 to 12 months. The Teams product has revolutionized collaboration and communication for various businesses. It effectively brings video and voice calls, chat/messaging, file sharing, video conferencing, and other collaboration tools to a unified communication solution. The company also consists of a team of experts in integrating Microsoft Teams with the Global Contact Centre Solutions.

In addition, the platform will enable the global contact center operators in the Philippines to natively deploy Microsoft Teams calling with the omni-channel contact center solutions of CommsChoice, which will allow a seamless integration with the Teams PBX of their clients. The company is also planning to release its unlimited Teams call plans for $AU15 and will make the offer available in 10 countries including Singapore, South Korea, Ireland, Canada, and Mexico.
