Advarra launches next-gen cloud platform for clinical trial processes

Advarra Inc., a leading US-based company providing clinical research solutions and services, has announced the launch of Advarra Cloud, a next-generation cloud platform.

With Advarra Cloud, customers will be offered a wider range of options for cloud deployment and will have applications delivered in an easy-to-use and fully managed environment, while also being provided with pre-validated installation and operational qualification.

The platform has been built upon the best industry practices with reduced complexity and an overall lower cost and comes with an architecture that can keep up with the changing regulatory compliance and business needs.

Gadi Saarony, CEO of Advarra, had stated that with the ever-evolving nature and complexity of clinical trials, Advarra Cloud will help clients become more flexible and accelerate the delivery of their critical research activities.

Mr. Saarony says that the company wants to bring cloud technology as well as next-gen cloud computing to its customers on a modern and enduring platform with which customers can scale up with lesser costs and efforts.

Advarra will be supplying the infrastructure, systems, personnel, software as well as processes to deliver and support the Advarra Cloud environment, allowing customers to focus on improving the execution of their clinical research and trials.

As per the announcement, the platform will be addressing a wide range of challenges in the life science industry, with a primary focus on providing solutions for sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) as well as for standards-based sites.

It will be utilized in Advarra’s key solutions that include its clinical trial management system, OnCore, as well as the Advarra eRegulatory Management System (eReg).

Mr. Saarony further mentioned that the launch is a part of a series of initiatives taken by the company, with more following in the ensuing months, to support its customers in their journey of advancing human health.
