The deal follows the originally announced planned acquisition when Sumit Kumar, the President and CEO of Vecima Networks, had stated that Nokia’s portfolio is in perfect alignment with Vecima’s strategy to deliver independent, open and future-proof cable access solutions that promote a multi-vendor ecosystem.
