Hygiene India to bank $13.46Mn investment from Lord's Mark Group

Hygiene India, a newly formed health and hygiene e-commerce portal, is about to rope in a $13.46 million (INR100 crores) funding from parent firm, Lord's Mark Group.

According to reliable reports, the funds will be used to expand the company's product line, enhance research and development, improve technological capabilities, expand production capabilities, and promote its brand.

In the next three years, Hygiene India hopes to become India's largest health and hygiene marketplace. It has introduced a comprehensive product line for critical and preventative health care based on indigenous wisdom and natural ingredients and revolutionary diagnostic kits. The range of products includes IVD kits, essential care kits, immunity boosters, and so on.

Moreover, its home care products comprise of scented liquid hand wash, dishwasher, sanicubes, disinfectant, toilet cleaners, air fresheners, and so forth. It has also developed personal care items such as sanitary pads, emphasizing women's cleanliness and care.

These product lines will be offered under three brand names: MarkoSafe for home care, Safelite for sanitary pads and SafeSehat for health care.

Director of The Hygiene India, Mr. Sachidanand Upadhyay, stated that the Lord's Mark Group aspires to deliver superior quality home and health care products to each and every Indian family at accessible rates and Hygiene India was established to achieve this aim.

The long-term goal is to establish Hygiene India as the nation's largest care facilitator and one-stop shop for our consumers. The funding will aid in the expansion of this one-of-a-kind e-commerce business. Mr. Upadhyay added.

Mr. Naitik Vyas, an adviser at Lord's Med, a healthcare subsidiary business of Lord's Mark Group, stated that The Hygiene India has begun to get considerable consumer traction since it started introductory discounts of up to 40% on all of its items, along with free delivery.

For those who are not aware, Lord's Mark Industries Pvt. Ltd. (Lord's) was founded in 1998. It began with producing stationary products and copier paper before gradually diversifying into other segments.
